The wine sector

Bertani Domains

Quality, authenticity, valuing the land

Bertani Domains is the company within the Angelini group which handles the production and marketing of fine wines. It operates six wineries in Italy for a total of 1,700 hectares of land, 460 of which are under vines, and an overall production of approximately 4 million bottles per year.

In its three historic Tuscan wineries, it produces wines with the three following designations of origin: Brunello di Montalcino (from the Val di Suga vineyards in Montalcino), Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (from TreRose in Montepulciano) and Chianti Classico (from San Leonino, in Castellina in Chianti).

In region of Le Marche, the Fazi Battaglia winery, a historic brand of Italian wine, is famous for its production of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico wine.

The Puiatti winery in Romans d’Isonzo (GO) is devoted to the production of fine white wines from the Friuli area; while Bertani is the historic Venetian winery known for its production of the Amarone della Valpolicella wine.

An agricultural enterprise dedicated to innovation

In 2018, Bertani Domains became an Agricultural Enterprise, and thus made its wine production exclusively reliant on its own vineyards. This decisione was a brave one and illustrates the group’s commitment to investing in and valuing its own wine-growing assets.

Bertani Domains is an enterprise which has always been particularly suited to sustainable production, and it has in fact begun the process of organic certification for Tenuta Novare, Bertani’s historic vineyard and an icon of production for the entire Valpolicella Classica region (where the famous Amarone Classico Bertani is produced), and for Tenuta Trerose, the Vineyard in the heart of the region producing Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
