Machinery producing face masks at 800 pieces a minute, “the fastest in the world, able to multiply current capacity to give the Country the chance to manage the emergency”. With these words Alessandro Bulfon, General Manager of Fameccanica, comments the industrial project designed by Fameccanica, the joint venture between Angelini and Procter & Gamble operating in automation and robotics with production locations in Italy, North America and China. The article highlights the complexity of the project, that has seen up to 200 people working 7 days a week to answer to the demands linked to the Coronavirus emergency. 25 of the machines were made available to the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Coronavirus Emergency.
